National Adhesives and Adley nv-sa become partners in the field of reactive hotmelts. Adley nv-sa will include National’s PUR-FECT hotmelts in their product range. The expertise and know-how of Aldey’s team in automotive, assembly and construction applications will be combined with the product and development excellence of National.

Polyurethane based hotmelts (PUR hotmelts) combine the fast setting of hotmelts with the structural bond of classic polyurethane adhesives.

The PUR-FECT range are the products of choice in an automated production where process speed and a chemical cross linking of the different substrates is required.

Adley adds Butyl Hot Melts to its product range


With TOTALSEAL, Adley is now able to offer its customers also butyl hotmelts. These products are ideally suited for applications that require a perfect moisture or air seal.

Butyl hotmelts are based on butyl rubber. It has outstanding adhesion to glass, aluminium, and many other materials. The product has excellent resistance to degradation from ultraviolet light, temperature changes. Butyl hotmelts are save and easy to use.

The product can be used in a variety of applications like the sealing of glass, the sealing of light units, door panels and body panels in the automotive industry and the sealing of air and hydro ducts in general assembly. It can be applied easily in an automated production processes.

Adley’s partners for these butyl hot melts are LJF and Hutchinson, two members of the Bostik group. Adley represents Bostik already for more than 20 years in the field of polyamide (PA) and rubber based hotmelts.



New people


As of the 1st of january 2008 Philippe Mattheus will be responsible for the speciality glue department .

As of the 1st of May Kees van Leeuwen has joined the Adley team. He will take care of the Dutch and German markets.

Adley and Bostik strengthen their co-operation


Already long term partners in the field of hot melt adhesives (Thermelt and Thermoresol) Adley will now also offer Bostik’s Simson product range to its industrial customers.
Key products in this range are adhesives and sealants based on MS polymers, 1 component reactive polyurethanes and silicones.
Adley and Bostik will use their combined commercial and technical expertise to further develop specific needs in the industrial segment. The laboratories in ‘s Hertogenbosch offer a wide variety of test facilities and tools for new product development.

Adley moves


As of November 2007 Adley nv-sa has centralized all its activities in Machelen, Belgium. The new address for all deliveries and collections is Budasteenweg 2A in B-1830 Machelen, Belgium. Telephone numbers and e-mail addresses remain the same. All activities of ABT sa in the van Volxemlaan in Vorst, a company recently acquired by Adley nv-sa have moved to Machelen as well.
